Strangely, this didn’t really smell like anything in the mini tin. It doesn’t taste like much either. The tea was quite bland. There is a little cardamom and cinnamon, but mostly sugar, and nothing french toast like about it. I can decide for myself IF and how much sugar my tea has in it, thanks. It was okay enough to finish the container, but I wouldn’t bother buying it.

Smells good, tastes okay. I think it might have made a better cold brewed iced tea, but I only had a tiny 5g sample so didn’t get to try it that way. The sugary fruit flavor was lacking something. I would drink it if someone gave it to me, but I wouldn’t bother to buy more.

Smells amazing in the bag, very fruity, which confused me because it doesn’t say anything about fruit in the ingredients. I thought I had accidentally opened the White Nectarine and had to double check label.
Lightly sweet with a delicate peach flavor, a hint of jasmine. This is more peachy than some supposed peach teas I’ve had. Not all what I was expecting, but it is very good. Being a white tea, you have to be very careful about temp/time. My tiny 5g sample didn’t have any hibiscus flowers in it.

A sniff of the bag made me wrinkle my nose, it doesn’t smell very good. Unfortunately, it doesn’t taste very good either. The peppermint oil is overwhelming and doesn’t combine well with the chocolate. I think it would have been much better if they had let the peppermint leaves carry the flavor instead of trying to boost it with extract.

A nice warming mix of spices. The ginger leaves behind a faint burning heat on the tongue. I usually find chai too strong with clove, but here it didn’t overwhelm the other spices. I added just a little sweetener and a splash of almond milk and curled up on the couch with my cup.

This was a free sample with my American Tea Room order. It isn’t something I would have chosen as brioche tea just doesn’t sound very good and I don’t often drink herbal tea anyway. I did like it though. It is lightly sweet and tastes like cinnamon french toast. I’d be interested in trying the black tea version.

The smell upon opening the bag made me hestiate to even try the tea. It reminded me of the smokey, peat bog reek of Islay scotch, I like scotch, but not that kind.
The first sip dispelled the imagined fear of it tasting like Laphroaig or Ardbeg. Reality wasn’t much better though. It was like liquefied ham or bacon. I’m not sure as I haven’t eaten either in 20 years. I was not thrilled with my tea tasting like meat water.
My husband who loves BBQ and scotch liked it, but I think I’ll pass.
