drank Almond by Adagio Teas

I wasn’t so sure about this one at first, but it quickly proved to be absolute favorite tea, probably because I love the taste of almond. The aroma is rich and fantastic, before and after steeping. I feel this tea is very versatile; I can enjoy it plain, with sweet cream, or over ice mixed with sweet cream! It’s also great blended with other teas like cream, caramel, or cinnamon. I recommend a steep time on the lower end of the scale or else it might become too bitter.

I really disliked this tea. It was worth a shot and I went in with an open mind but could not bring myself to enjoy the taste. It was too much like drinking moss or wet tree bark. I tried adding anything to it; cream, sugar, honey, and realized that nothing will ever make me enjoy this tea. However, I would recommend people to try it because they might like it better.

This tea is delicious alone or with a splash of cream. The ‘breakfast’ part of the title does not lie; it is fantastic for those early morning moments. I think Adagio’s version is rich and bold, with great quality of the leaves.
