1 Tasting Note

drank Snickerdoodle by DAVIDsTEA
1 tasting notes

So I had a stressful Saturday and was off to David’s Tea in Menlo Park(New Jersey’s first David’s). I asked the young lady what she thought of the fall teas and she listed the teas starting with the ones she loved and ending with the ones she thought were well just okay which was Snickerdoodle. The young lady said it was almost like butterscotch and no cookie taste. I being a sucker especially curious about anything butterscotch had to try it anyway and well the young lady at the counter was 85% right. It was too much cinnamon like that red hot candy cinnamon taste that seems to be all too common with the Teavana Chais. I did pick up very subtle butterscotch tones but niot much at all. I tried it with and without milk and even threw some grated cinnamon on top and I was still disgusted by this tea. Davids should spike it up with the cinnamon add some beetrot for a reddish color and they could resell it as Mad about the RedHots or something along those lines. This sadly it didn’t remind me of anything Snickerdoodle which is my favorite cookie.

Preparation
2 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML
