My Teavana order came in a few days ago-was a big surprise considering that they didn’t send me a shipping confirmation. xD But that’s fine, it made for a nice surprise!
I tried it the day I got it unsweetened, and it was really good. I really do love the combo of jasmine and strawberry/rose. It’s just so good.
Yesterday morning I tried it sweetened, accidently put a bit too much sweetener in it(see I suck with sweetening things! XD). Shockingly, the two cups I got at the store were not nearly as sweet as when I added sweetener. But it was still really good. At least I knew that it’s easy to make it like it is in the store! Happy that they don’t sweeten it as much as I did! XD Next time I will make it right.
On a side note, I haven’t been able to drink caffeine teas in the morning because my pain has been super intense and I just have to take vicodin like right when I get up so I can function. But after a PT session on Wednesday, where she tried something entirely new , the last two mornings I have been able to wait to take any pain killers, and I have been able to take a shower and get dressed without feeling like I’m going to collapse.
And overall yesterday was way better than it should have been. Kinda scared that being happy at the thought of it working is going to jinx it or something, but I’m really happy!! ^^ I definitely know it’s not coincidence at least. So yeah, these last two mornings I have been celebrating with caffeinated tea! :D :D
So this was the celebration tea of yesterday morning! :D
Edit:
Apparently this is my 600th tasting note. xD So Yah for 600! :P Took me long enough haha!

Oh when I take vicodin it’s when my pain levels are super high and I’m also very sensitive to caffeine, so If I take pain killers and caffeine then I’ll be really awake and not so relaxed. xD Since my pain levels are usually super high I have to do everything I can for the pain killers to actually do their job super well. A lot of caffeine in my system throws the whole thing off. xD Soo I find it better for me to just wait till they start wearing off to drink a caffeinated tea. Does that make sense, Lindsay? If it doesn’t I’m sorry, I suck at explaining things haha!
Thanks, Carol Who! I’ve never been so excited to go back to PT! I really am praying and hoping that I’ve really found something that will help me for once! :D
Sure, that makes sense. :) For some people adding caffeine to pain meds actually helps (hence caffeine being an ingredient in some combo meds like Tylenol #3 and excedrin). But I can see that if you’re really sensitive to caffeine, and it makes you tense, then that’d be counterproductive. Have you ever tried a GABA oolong? I wonder if something like that would be less stimulating and more relaxing.
woot! grats on 600!!
Yay, 600!
Congrats!!!
Thanks you guys! ^^
Glad to hear you are having a bit of improvement, health wise! Congrats on 600!
Maybe you’ve mentioned it before, but why can’t you have caffeine with vicodin?
