737 Tasting Notes
This tasted weird the first time I had it like a year ago. Well, almost a year ago.
And now it still tastes weird…
Is this what Buttered Rum tastes like?
i tried a lifesaver that was Buttered Rum and really liked it because it tasted like Butterscotch…but this doesn’t taste like that…
:S
Yeah…can’t say I’m a fan! D:
So I totally thought that the base of this tea would be overpowering-it looked like black tea at first but when I looked it up on here it turned out to be oolong! Clearly I’m going blind xD
Well, either way, this one surprised me!
Couldn’t really taste the base tea which really worked out for this one!
The main flavors were mango and peach. There was also like a really sour taste in it-for a second there, I thought it might be citrus, but then I realized it was probably the pineapple.
It’s not really "sweet’, but it’s just really really fruity. I like it, it’s a decent tea. Just not my absolute favorite. Wouldn’t mind drinking it again. Just too many fruits all at once for me. xD
Flavors: Fruity, Mango, Peach, Pineapple, Sour
I bought this tea but returned it when I found out it had an ingredient called deglutenized wheat in it.
Yeah, this one definitely didn’t live up to expectations…
Was kinda malty…kinda woody…not tons of flavor. I’m sure if you steep it longer than the advised steeping time you will get more flavor but….I don’t feel like it’s worth trying again. Just doesn’t seem like any of the great things I would be…
DavidsTea really isn’t all that great with unflavored teas…they need to stick with unflavored teas!
Thank you to Allan K for the sample though! Probably would have wasted my money on it at some point otherwise D:

I got like a tsp of this tea from Terri, which I’m not sure is the amount you’re supposed to use, but I’d rather have a weak tea than have to pay full price to try it! So works for me!
I tasted a lot of cherry and wood. There were notes of vanilla too. Was not bad. Pretty good actually-I’d totally drink it again.
But it’s not something that I would buy. Which is fine. Happy to sample!
Flavors: Cherry, Vanilla, Wood
This one just tastes like wood and tobacco for me. xD I don’t get the tobacco taste in most teas…it took me a few sips to really pick it out. Haha!
But yup. There it was.
Also, this one tastes a bit smokey, which is odd. Don’t think many others have tasted that!
Oh well. Thanks for the sample, Terri!
Flavors: Smoke, Tobacco, Wood
Had this one earlier today…Made for a decent cup. For some reason, the almond/coconut combo, I just can’t drink tons of this tea in one sitting. It’s just too strong.
It’s a nice tea that I do enjoy, but I don’t know, I just couldn’t get myself to make another cup.
Flavors: Almond, Coconut, Sweet

Had this one yesterday… Decided to treat myself to some amazing tea, on a miserable day. I am supposed to save it only for special occasions, but…I mean, I figured I’ve had to deal with an insane amount of pain all day long, with only like 40% relief from pain killers, right? That deserves an award, right?
Well…whether I’m right or not, I drank it. And it was delicious, and incredible. Even on the miserable day which was yesterday.
Flavors: Floral, Flowers, Orchid, Perfume, Smooth
Aha glad someone agrees! And now to reward myself for the awful day I’ve had today, I’m trying a bunch of tea samples that I haven’t been able to try! :D
That does indeed deserve a reward. Though I have to note that just being you is special-occasion worthy in and of itself. You don’t need any special “event”. You’re worth the good stuff.
I waited like two days too long to get this tea on their website because now they are sold out. sighs Sad times…Oh well…It’s such a good tea, and I’ve enjoyed the sample Terri gave me so much! Wish I could have gotten this tea! :(
Flavors: Bread, Honey, Sweet, Sweet Potatoes
Found this in my sample basket-an old one from Mandy! Can’t believe I missed it! Since I am planning on putting in a YS order soon, I figured I need to try all the YS teas I have, So I can make a full order! :D
But this one is definitely not for me.
It’s super woody…with like…a bready note in the aftertaste…very odd. xD
Thanks for the sample anyway, Mandy!
Flavors: Bread, Wood
Buttered rum tastes more like the lifesavers, IMO. But also really alcoholic!
Is this the one with coconut in it? I can’t remember. I think my bag of this went super weird tasting at some point and I had to throw it out.
i used to drink rum before switching to tea. maybe i should try this one lol
the alcohol is burnt off. you don’t actually get drunk off alc flavored teas :)
Yeah, there is coconut in it, whatshesaid! Feel like that also adds to the weird taste. xD
