Today has been a long day. Exams are this coming week, and while last week was dead week, this weekend is dead weekend! This tea is the perfect end to a day filled with studying and running around. The mint and chamomile are soothing and relaxing enough to help reduce the stress of my 8 am exam. I love this tea!

This tea smells like everything that is right with the world. I first received this tea as part of a Christmas present along with several other Teavana teas. I immediately opened all of the bags and then spent the next few hours just smelling and drinking the delicious teas! It was wonderful! All of the teas were great, but this one stood out especially.

When I first smelled this tea, it reminded me of the library in fall. The spices in this tea create a combination of flavors and smells that are reminiscent of old books, dry leaves, and antiques. All of my favorite things combined in one great tea!

I was apprehensive to taste the tea though. I was curious to see how the spicy, homey scent would translate to taste. I was not disappointed. The spice combination in this tea is lovely! It may be because I love cloves, but this is one of my favorite teas!

This is a great tea if you are running late. Usually I just throw about eight of the pearls into my thermos and then fill it with hot water and head out. The jasmine flavor is strong, but not overwhelming. I especially like it because it tastes good with no sweeteners.

This tea is wonderful. The lavender is very strong in this one. It complements the citrus tones from the earl grey very well. I like to drink this tea in the morning as a relaxing wake-up!

This is a wonderful desert tea. The almond flavor is very strong. It tastes wonderful plain, but is enhanced with a little bit of sugar. This is definitely a tea to try if you love almonds!

This is one of my favorite teas. It is very calming. I like to add just a little bit of honey to make it perfect. You cannot steep this tea for very long though. I believe it is because of the lavender. Whenever I steep the tea for over two minutes and thirty seconds, it tastes very strange. If you only steep it for that amount of time, it comes out perfectly!

love this! I have been using mine for over a year and it has completely changed how I drink tea. My only suggestion is maybe to use two. Sometimes if I make a chai or other very flavorful tea in this, the flavors linger and my next tea is a bit flavored. This rarely happens though!

Bio

I have been a tea lover since I was barely in fourth grade. My love for tea has grown exponentially since then, and now I am on a quest to learn as much as I can about tea. And I can’t wait!

I work in the tea room, and spend all of my spare time teaching my friends about tea. I hope to one day own my very own tea room, and I am constantly working towards that. I hope to use steepster as a path to knowledge. Hopefully this knowledge will prepare and inspire me to be a greater tea lover!
