Not rating this tea because I tossed it. Not sure why this labeled for a better morning since none of the ingredients bring morning to mind. I didn’t like it right as soon as I opened the bag. The mint in this one just really turned me off. Many probably would love this tea but I couldn’t get into it. Definite hard pass for me. I only choked down about half of this before I said no thanks, moving on.

This is a very strongly flavored tea. The hibiscus is very strong in this tea so if you don’t like that then this definitely isn’t the tea for you. Brews up really read, strongly flavored, definitely berry. I brewed the recommended about of time but I might shortened that next time to hopefully not be so strong. I drank it hot but it would make a great iced tea too.

This was an okay tea. Not brilliant. Had a good scent but it didn’t carry over to flavor for me. It was very light tasting without a whole ton of flavor. I was glad I only got one as a sample and not a whole box. I’d drink it again but I have lots more tea I like more. Was not overly berry flavored and not a strong tea in general. Hint of mint but not strong. I just wasn’t a fan of this one. Brewed it according to the directions

This was definitely a lighter sencha. The orange is present but not overwhelming. Seems like a good everyday tea. I used to drink Lipton Green Tea with orange in it, this was a good organic replacement. Tasted way better. Was able to steep it twice but it could probably go more. Well balanced and not overpowering.

Well balanced green tea. The orange and pineapple are not super strong but are noted. Smells great, drinks smooth, and finishes with the taste of the green tea. Not sure I was energized but it was a nice tea and one that will become a often used tea.

Did not like at all. The Holy Basil herb was way too much for me. I have never had it so I can’t compare to others but for me this way overpowered the rest of the flavor. I didn’t even finish the tea any time I tried it. Tried it a couple of different times just to make sure it wasn’t my home water versus office water. I didn’t notice anything but the holy basil herb, the other flavors just disappeared for me.

The first time I brewed this I WAY over brewed it. Darn those kids and their distractions!

But it was much better when I did it right. It’s a very light white tea, taste of strawberry comes out more on the second steeping but it’s still very light and well balanced. The kind of tea that is not strong or overpowering but can be sipped all day. I drink it hot and use no sweeteners.

I really wanted to like this tea. It has lots of flavors that I like. Eastern Shore is usually very mild and not a strong tasting tea which I expect, this one was totally lacking. It didn’t really carry any vanilla, cherry, or almond flavors at all. It just tasted like a mild black tea. When I first opened the bag I could smell the vanilla and almond but it dissipated quickly.

drank Toasted Rice by Numi Organic Tea

First of this kind of tea that I have tried. I was a little leary that it would taste like burnt grass. Instead it does have a nice toasted rice nutty flavor. Not a huge astringent taste like straight sencha can have, it’s offset and softened by the toasted rice.

Prefer organic blends. Never been a fan of strong black tea but finding lighter black tea blends are good. Only started to drink tea in 2015 so I am trying to expand my tastes. I drink it straight, rarely adding anything at all.
