Hello Steepster!
So I’ve been gone a long time. The short version is that my new job, which was so exciting and supposed to give such lovely security to my life has turned out to be an utter nightmare. The stress from working with my co-worker I was becoming physically ill, and hardly spent a day where I wasn’t sick and crying.
And I’m putting it all behind me. I’m leaving this (otherwise perfectly nice) position for a few cobbled together part time jobs, as I hunt for the next good thing.
So, whew.
When I was in the middle of all of this, I was so stressed that I was hardly drinking tea, and felt very blah about everything, but ever since I gave my notice (one week to go!), I’ve been becoming myself again, enjoying tea, cooking, getting excited about new teas and writing tasting notes, and wanting to engage in sipdowns again!
And, of course, its 105 today. Bleh.
So out come the fruity blend.
This blend of grape and black tea comes out in Lupicia’s Christmas collection, but I always save it for the summer, as it just seems more correct there.
Ahh, its good to be back, Steepster. I’ve missed you.

It’s a sad thing when the body says stop and we refuse to listen. Glad that you listened and are on your way to a healthier situation. And tea! Yay!
I’m glad you removed yourself from that environment, but also sad to hear that you had to go through that. Why is it so hard to find a decent FT job? :(
Echoing Fjellrev; your mental well being is just as important as the physical. You wouldn’t stay at a job that caused you daily physical pain, right? So why should mental be different. Glad you’re moving on to something different and hopefully better!
Glad you are back, and feeling better. Best wishes in your new job hunt!
