So I live in a small town. I work in an even smaller town, and sometimes (like last night) I go into the neighboring city, which is not a particularly large city, though it has theatres and stuff. So I went and saw a play last night, and somehow the entire population of everywhere I’ve ever been, looked at, or heard about was in the parking garage I was in, and it took me a good half hour to get out of the parking garage.
So I did not get home till rather late. No problem! Today is a Saturday where I do not need to work, and the class I’m taking isn’t until eleven! I can sleep in.
No. Apparently I have dishonored Morpheus, and I woke up, sans alarm, at my weekday time. All attempts to rejoin the land of the sleeping were met with abject failure, so I got up, made a pot of this, and set about readying myself for the inevitable energy crash.
This helped sooth my grumpiness, in any case.
