Friday. Thank the maker, its Friday. This has been a dreadful week, only way it could possibly worse is if something goes wrong today, and I’m hoping that it goes very smoothly indeed.
A lovely tea to start the day. This is not the week for teas I do not care about at all. This is time for proper tea. Proper cuppa!
I’m nearly done with this, and I’ll miss it when its gone, though it wont be an instand reorder, to be sure.

Hoping your day goes well!

Feeling your pain. Hope you can close down Friday with a sense of, “Well, something did go right after all!”

May this be a great day and may you have a great weekend! Maybe listen to “Me and My Baby” by SteM Powered Giraffe to get started!

ashmanra

That should be Steam

This tasting note is written at full speed! Nothing today has gone according to plan, with surprise inspections, extra hours, and a sudden trip to the next city over. AND I have one more class to teach tonight, in about an hour.
Gah.
I have a headache, and am exsausted, and I dont have time for much other then some pain meds and a cup of tea.
It had to be quick, had to be good without being great, and had to be easy to brew up. Bingo.
Rosehips, away!

Why has it been so long since I had this? Its such a good, uncomplicated tea. I cant quite figure out why its been so long since I had it.

Sami Kelsh

I know that feeling. There are some simple teas I feel I don’t revisit nearly often enough.

Was feeling somewhat queesy before I went to work (why am I so nervous? Why?!?!), and a hot cup of ginger tea sounded like just the thing. So I brewed up a quick cup of this to sip on while I got ready.
I was right. It helped.
Hopefully at the next office I work in, there will be a place to make hot water, so I can drink tea all day. That would help everything (except perhaps my productivity)

I did not sleep well. I’ve got a lot of job stress, and had many nightmares and restless sleep last night.
I’m hoping today goes really well, and I’ve started the day off with a favorite tea, because life today is too stressful to have a bleh tea.
My fencing coach called me last night, and asked if I could teach the evening class, which I’m going to do. Stressed about that too, though it will be fun, I think.
I guess we’ll see if I’ve survived the week.

TeaBrat

Sorry, I hope things get better soon!

My tea of last night. Why did I take such a long break from it? Its quite good, fresh, minty, without feeling at all like mouthwash. And it was a lovely tea to drink on a nice evening like yesterday was.

Tea of this afternoon, after resume send outs. Why is pressing send on an application so stressful?
I think I’m compelled, every time I have this, to say that its the smell of the thing, rather than the taste, that really makes it. Delicious. You can smell the apricot down to its core. Yum.
It tastes light, fruity, and generally unimpressive pleasant. It smells like heaven.

gmathis

Because there’s always that one tiny but critically important detail you are concerned you have overlooked and you can’t get that confounded email back!!!! (No…this never happens to me!)

Terri HarpLady

Regarding the aroma of this tea, it is heavenly!

Rosehips

gmathis, thats it exactly!

drank Tieguanyin Light Oolong by Teance

First to review this tea, eh? No pressure.
I got this at a little tea shop in Berkeley about a month ago. They had some interesting blends and I got this little sample packet, to try this oolong, which suggested notes of vanilla and clover honey, which are surefire discriptors to get me to buy a product.
They are not kidding with the term Light Oolong. This is so delicate and subtle that its taken me a few cups to really get a hold on this.
Light, but not bad. A watercolor wash of oolong, and, yes, a subtle after taste of honey floating by. Its very calming and gentle, and I like it.
I may not ever have it again, but this was a lovely pot of tea.

I dont go into work until the afternoon, so I could (and did) sleep in a little, and can enjoy a great deal of tea before I have to go.
Morning pot. This brewed up extra nice today as well! Rose cloud, floating tea. Yum.
I’m applying to jobs right now. I currently work three jobs, none of them with benefits or anything like that, and I would like to be able to afford to have fewer jobs.
Applying is always stressful, but its better than the overworked stress, so here I go!

keychange

Good luck. Applying for jobs is indeed incredibly stressful.

ashmanra

You chose a great tea for stress reduction!

TheTeaFairy

Good luck, i can’t imagine how hard working at three jobs must be…

I love tea! I confess that I was a hot chocolate lover for most of my life, but recently a switch has gone off in my brain, and suggested that I might just love tea. And I do!
I’m a bit of a novice, but an enthusiastic one, and am happily sipping new varieties all the time.
I love vanilla, fruity, and caramel flavors, and cant wait to try more.
