I think I like the new Steepster bells and whistles. Well, thats a good thing, as its not like I can get it back the other way.
I am contentedly in my robe, listening to music and plotting the next work of fiction (Camp Nanowrimo is coming up fast in April. I should be ready!), and this is my tea of choice for the evening.
Of course, its often the tea of choice, as its perfectly lovely, but it goes double for today.

Good luck with Nanowrimo!

Why, goodness me, Steepster. What has come over you?
I left for the weekend, out to have adventures and watch Cirque du Soleil (magical. I love Cirque), and I come back, eager to drink a proper cup of tea, and log it.
Its like seeing a friend after a long time, and the friend has changed their look, got a haircut and new clothes. You recognise them, but you still quietly check the URL to make sure that you have not gone somewhere else….
Well, I like it so far, and am eager to run around and see it.
This tea. I am almost done with this tea. Thank goodness. I am well and proper ready to be done with this.
Oooh, I get to use the not recommended button!

The quest to get these S&V teas gone continues.
I’ve given up on this ever tasting like Creme Brulee. This does not have the crisp sugary quality, or the smooth custard taste of a proper creme brulee.
Instead, I still get the mysterious coconut, and today is just a bit bitter. Meh.
Well, thats what I’ve got. I’ll get it drunk, and free up my tin for new and better brews.

Word, I kind of feel obligated to work on mine until they’re gone.

Today no toffe, just hot, black tea, with the tiniest hint of nuttiness. I would be more annyoed, but I’m almost asleep, so I’m ok with this being just wake up juice, instead of a properly delightful cup of tea.
Why, S&V, why? Gah.

Was in dramatic need of tea today, so stopped for a cup of this during lunch.
I’ve had this before, and was stuck by how juicy this tea is. And in a very good way. Its lush and fruity, without seeming like some kind of hot punch. Just what the doctor ordered on this long afternoon.
C’mon, when is Saturday going to get here?

It rained yesterday! Hooray! And it was a thunderstorm. I love thunderstorms. It all cleared up this morning, but I still felt a little better about the world.
So a lovely, post rain cup of tea was required this morning. This beloved favorite was it.

Oof, this was a tough morning section.
I have returned home, before a busy afternoon of errands, to drink tea and have my favorite mid-morning snack, of an english muffin with local honey on it, paired with the tea.
This is what I grabbed today, not so much out of a love of this, but more out of the desire to get rid of it.
Its not bitter, or bad, but I do not get the vanilla in the amount I want. Its the slightest suggestion of aftertaste, rather than a full and flavorful vanilla cup.
Well, a quiet morning before off the races again.

love vanilla blacks as well (and always appreciate a good ‘iteration’ of french vanilla)…do you have any recommendations on any where the vanilla stands up well to the base?

Rosehips

So far Harney and Sons Vanilla Black and Vanilla Comoro are holding the top spots, but the quest is ongoing.

My stomach hurts a little this morning. And I’ve got my extra early day, plus a whole lot of work. Bleh.
Save me, pure mint.
This is an especially good bagged tea. A very smooth base, and a noticeable amount of mint. Excelent.
Still, I cant wait till I can get back home and drink a proper pot of tea.

A very enthusiastic new fencer has bashed me in the hand, so that hurts.
Its been a long day. There was a point in the afternoon when I would have trampled over my desk for a cup of tea.
So, now, exsausted, hand throbbing, I am drinking this.
I like rooibos in a sachet. It makes the whole rooibos cleanup process that much easier.

Sorry about your hand. :-(

I hope you heal quickly and easily. Feel better soon!

We are in a drought in my neck of the woods, which is a massive problem, as its farmland around here. But today it smells like there may be rain.
To help encourage the atmosphere, I am drinking this, my favorite winter tea. And, if we are lucky, we shall have some rain around here as well.

I love tea! I confess that I was a hot chocolate lover for most of my life, but recently a switch has gone off in my brain, and suggested that I might just love tea. And I do!
I’m a bit of a novice, but an enthusiastic one, and am happily sipping new varieties all the time.
I love vanilla, fruity, and caramel flavors, and cant wait to try more.
