2967 Tasting Notes
This tin has been sitting, completely untasted, for a long time. So, into the work bag it goes, where I expect to drink it down over the coming weeks at work.
And I feel that it’s going to be difficult, as my first cup was not very good. It was bitter, heavy, and unpleasant.
I will try a very delicate steep next time, and see if that helps, but I’m not much impressed with it, on first go.
Ten teas. Excuse me while I vibrate with disbelief. I currently own ten teas. Ten teas total.
Eeeeeeek!
I’d say I’m allowed to place an order now, so I will do so soon.
This has steeped up much better today. I still get a little of the dry mouthfeel, but it’s less bitter.
I can’t say that honey is the main flavor I taste. Maybe next time I’ll add a dollop of actual honey to it.
And a sipdown!
I’m glad I brought this with me to work, and actually worked on drinking it down. I’ve enjoyed it!
This smaller cupboard size is still rather amazing to me, and I’m feeling so productive in my sipdowns!
Another tea now needs to be picked for the work desk!
Backlogged from yesterday.
Hmmm. In theory, I should love this. Honey is one of my very favorite flavors, and this blend is by Harney, a brand that I always enjoy.
But I cannot help but feel that this one has rather missed the mark. The honey is sort of artificial tasting, and the brew leaves a dry feeling in my mouth.
I shall play around with this, as I’ve got a bit of it. I hope I can make it work!
I was really dragging yesterday, and wanted something solid to drink. Bingo!
This is a really nice breakfast blend- strong without being overwhelming, and that is just the ticket when I am feeling that worn out.
I’ve been fighting a bit of a cold, and had some trouble getting to sleep lately, a bad combination. So, nice tea to drink is absolutely essential.
I’m almost done with this! I’m absurdly pleased about that.
So, I brought this with me to work this week. My boss is back from vacation, which means that the thermostat has been reset to sub zero temperatures, and I am drinking a lot of tea. Plus this week I’ve got a bit of a cold, so I figured keeping my insides warm with cups of tea is the way to go.
So I brought this, and drank it all down in a couple of days, as it’s very easy to drink.
I cannot say that it tasted like Marmalade to me, it was just a fruit infusion. Not unpleasant, but not the orangy treat I was hoping for.
Oh well, now a Sipdown!
Oh dear. I spent way too long last night talking to a very nice young man, and didn’t get home until very late indeed. So it’s going to be a long day without quite enough sleep.
My last cup of this tin of Malachi was saved for exactly this sort of circumstance.
Help me, Malachi McCormick, you’re my only hope.
