I am enjoying a bottle of this cold-brewed with The Tea Spot’s steep n go. It is one of only three teas I have had cold-brewed, and is somewhat different cold-steeped than it is hot. There is still a very faint sweetness to it, but it is almost overpowered by the grassy or “green tea” flavor (I say “green tea” because it is the only thing I can really describe the flavor as, a delicious but acquired taste). It is refreshing to drink it cold, and a great break from hot tea.

I only recently started my fascination with tea. I was drinking 4+ cups of coffee a day, and the caffeine intake was starting to affect me noticeably. So I quit coffee, bought some loose leaf black tea and have since grown to love many varieties of tea, mostly unflavored.
