drank Pink Flamingo by DAVIDsTEA

This is like drinking a cup of sunshine! It is an instant reminder of the springtime and flowers and heat to come. The deep flamingo-pink colour of the tea is just as refreshing and energizing as the citrusy grapefruit smell. I can’t believe there is no grapefruit in here – how could there not be??

I brought this tea to work with me on an overnight shift and it gave me a nice caffeine-free energizing boost at 5am. I didn’t find the taste to be too tart at all – I thought it was perfect just the way it was with no sugar needed. I was a little bit hesitant about drinking it hot because it only seems to make sense to drink it iced, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I also improvised a small glass of iced-tea by adding a packet of sugar and some ice cubes (which was all I could find at work) and it was even more delicious! I can only imagine what it would taste like iced when prepared properly!

The onnnly downside is that this tea does not last long due to the fact that 2tsp are needed for one cup, so you don’t get as much bang for your buck. But it is delicious :)
