Oh my god. This tea is amazing…Ever since I heard of Milk Oolong, I have had recurring dreams of buying tins of it only to wake up disappointed that I could not go and taste it in real life (seriously). So finally I got my hands on some and – wow. Delicious!

From the bag, the dry leaves smell like a buttery spinach. When it steeps, the flowery smell of orchids really comes out. Drinking it is just dreamy – and I haven’t even tried it with milk yet. It is perfect as it comes. I didn’t understand how a tea could taste creamy or milky or buttery but it really does! I thought it might be somehow thicker or heavier too, but it is still quite light (if that makes sense). There is nice sweet aftertaste that stays on your lips and keeps you wanting more.

It is pretty expensive, but I can’t wait to try spending a day re-steeping it to taste the different notes that come out each time and really make it last. Well done, Wuyi Mountains of China and DavidsTea. Well done.
