Yuck! I don’t like this one at all. Tastes like medicine for cold/flu. Smells like it too. Like cherry lemon perhaps. Robitussin? Theraflu? Ugh. Brewed it with 1 tsp. rock sugar. I’ve tried it on two different occasions, and just don’t taste the things I read in other reviews here. Blueberry – no. Pineapple – not really. I bought 2 packages of this, 2 oz. each, and took the unopened one back to Teavana for an exchange. Stuck with the opened one. I want to mix it with something, but I’m afraid it will ruin that tea tasting! Sorry, this one is just awful for me.

drank Vanilla Chai Tea by Bigelow
19 tasting notes

Disclaimer: I’m a former tea bag drinker converted to loose leaf teas, but am trying to use up my stash of bagged teas. They are convenient for work, so not a problem.

That said, I find this tea rather “meh”. A chai should be spicy, but this one isn’t. I do taste the vanilla, and the tea has a rather smooth feeling which is nice. It also took a considerable amount of sweetner to make it drinkable and bring out the vanila. Unfortunately, no spiciness ever appeared. I get a nice warminess when drinking it, but it’s flat.

Flavors: Vanilla

Yes – this one’s a winner for me! Quite unique – almonds and …. something. Don’t know if it’s the ginger or not. I used a heaping teaspoon of rock sugar for a 16 oz. brew, which is a bit more than I usually do. Very enjoyable tea that I will be keeping on my shelf.

drank S'mores Oolong Tea by Teavana

I purchased this tea on sale – 50% off and it was a good purchase at that price. This tea tasted nice to me. I get a graham like taste mixed with vanilla. The chocolate comes to me in an aftertaste. It is sweet and rich tasting. I was pleasantly pleased as I didn’t think I would like it as much as I did. It will be a tea that I go to occasionally, but not an everyday tea.

drank Peach Tranquility by Teavana

I do love this tea! Very peachy. I’m not a fan of fruity teas, with the exception of peach and strawberry. For me to like them, the flavor must be strong and this is. It also mixes well with the Teavana strawberry blush tea (and probably other strawberry teas). I like this tea well enough to say that it will be a staple in my cupboard.

drank Pumpkin Spice by Adagio Teas
19 tasting notes

This is one of five teas I bought online from Adagio. It misses with me, just like the other 4 teas from Adagio, so I won’t be repurchasing from Adagio. I don’t taste pumpkin at all, just a spicy, artificial sweetness. Tried blending it with a chai that I do like, but found it just ruined the cup.

Faboulous! Love the spices – lots of kick. My absolute favorite chai. It is more expensive, but it’s worth it and it is occasionally on sale. This is the ONE tea that I have to keep stocked in my cupboard. I’m giving it a 100 rating because I just can’t think of a single improvement! (Other than possibly the price.)

drank Caramel Chai Rooibos by Teavana

I liked this tea. The caramel is very smooth and the spices definitely come through. I added 1 tsp. of rock sugar for a 16 oz. cup because I like my tea sweet, but I think I would back off a bit on the sugar next time. For even further spice kick, I might add to Oprah chai tea. But really, it stands on its own just fine.
