I’m trying to work on some of my older verdant samples since i’ve been hoarding them…especially the puerhs. EEP! I pulled this one out since it’s one of the few i have left in the silver packaging.
I’ll be sipping on this, this morning though i don’t think it’s my favourite. It’s not a bad tea but it’s not a re-order for me. that woodsy oolongy taste is overly present in this one and as such it’s not as tasty for me as it could be.

“woodsy oolongy taste is overly present in this one”. Uh oh, need to move this one up my list to try. I think most oolongs aren’t woodsy enough. Need to break out this package soon and try it.
You may not find it woodsy enough for you. For me even small doses of that taste are more than enough for me. There’s a taste in green oolongs i can’t handle and one in roasted… if they don’t have that taste, i’m golden..if they do…meh
It’s been awhile since I drank this one, but I remember the incense flavor of it being pretty dominant. Sometimes I like that more than others. It’s been somewhat of an acquired taste for me.
I apparently don’t know what I like, I just got blown away by a green oolong?!? I’m still going to move this one up my list to try. “Incense flavor”, not sure I’ve run into an oolong that I thought was like incense. I love how we all perceive teas and flavors differently.
