15061 Tasting Notes
thank you terri! for saving some of this for me. I am really enjoying this version of snaily tea. It’s sweet and malty and mostly just really great this morning. It’s got a pastry, honey sort of thing going on, that is just the thing to kick off my really long day. I’ve got an overnight tonight with work, and if things go the way they usually, do… i’ll have been up since 5:30 this morning and won’t be sleeping until 9am ish on saturday. I’ll try to nap but it never seems to work.
oh man….this is a backlog from yesterday and i’m still having trouble believing that i purchased this and hadn’t gotten around to trying it until yesterday. This one is delicious people. better tasting note to come when i can be doing it as i’m drinking the tea…but i drank this one up super quickly and kept trying to go back for more when my travel mug was empty haha
dear verdant. please get the preorders in asap…unless they’re in and you just didn’t say anything and it’s on it’s way…. but i doubt it.
Really does feel like it’s taking forever. And now they are sending emails about new teas available. I am dying to try what I pre-ordered!
yeah… i’m a little worried because the last preorder, i didn’t have enough to last me until my preorder showed up…and even though i preordered again, i’d technically be out if terri hadn’t given me more of hers… soooo yeah.
How much did you preorder?
uh only 4oz… going to have to pick up another 4 when it lands i think…or 8…

backlog from yesterday because i had to go out last night with work – dinner and karoake with work mate to celebrate one of the girls’ upcoming wedding. it was an excellent time and everyone had a blast. However, this morning is a little rough :) still enjoying this tea a lot, – I rather like having this one around as a genmaicha like tea :)

I am not familiar with snail teas but see them a lot, how do they relate to assam? I am about to finish off some of that so I can buy something new!
that’s a tough one, since i’ve had such a wide variety of assams, whose flavour profiles were incredibly different from one another lol
