8271 Tasting Notes
last tea of the evening. i have a few more cups worth of this one and then it will be time to say good bye. I won’t be sad when this one is done, even though i enjoy it. Such seems to be the case with most david’s teas that i like..give me about 50g and then i don’t need it ever again haha. :)

I pulled this one out to try today. My other half and i didn’t get much done with errands but we did finally get around to cleaning the house – we’ve been letting that slide lately. This has been in my cupboard for an eternity…because i bought a bunch of puerh when i first got into tea and then was too scared to try it. So now i’m focusing on getting through all of the older puerh samples in my cupboard.
First few steeps were creamy…sort of prune like with later steeps being more vanilla and sweet like. This is one i might suggest for someone just getting in to puerh, and one that i should have had ages ago. Just might need to pick up a cake of this with my next mandala order.
so i’ve had this a couple times now…i’m actually surprised no one’s written anything about it. Long story short… it’s not bad, but it’s not my favourite. I’m thinking maybe jonesmcomgjonessrsly might find this one appealing since it’s on a base she loves. I’ll finish it if i must, but if it can find a happier home, that would be better. :)
Final Count: 106 (6 more to go for month end!)
i had this one today while my other half and i wandered about for a while. we tried out a london fog donut today as well…that was interesting and delicious!
this tea? I don’t remember much beyond being seriously satisfied that i’d pick this one to have today. I’ll have to have it again soon to get a better note. heh
