Thanks again for this one crowkettle it was on my wish list to try so that’s great. I am a fan of this one, having had a couple cups of it yesterday. When i get around to placing another what-cha order this one will be on it

I feel bad. I totally had this one yesterday but omg was work insane, so i didn’t get a chance to track anything. I am a fan of drinking this one a little more western style over the course of the day. I’ll be sad when i finish these up, but also happy since it means i’m working on drinking up my puerh!

Sample from crowkettle this is a pretty tasty oolong. Not a roasty sort of tea – instead it’s sweet, honey like, fruit notes etc.. not a super complex oolong but relatively tasty overall.

mmmmm sample from crowkettle this one is quite lovely. thankfully i brewed it at a lower temp than usual for my blacks, as i hadn’t registered it was a darjeeling. I like the cherry flavour this has going on as well as the sweetness from the cream. might need to think about ordering some of this for myself…

Evol Ving Ness

Darjeeling and cherries and cream! Sounds like a win to me.

honestly, where did the day go? I can’t believe it’s already nearly the end of the work day and i’m still scrambling to get things done. :) Pulled this one out and it’s just not the right harvest or something. This used to be my favourite of the keemuns with teavivre and either my tastebuds have really changed or this harvest just isn’t as awesome as previous. It might be time to order up a few samples and re-rank them :)

That’s always fun :)

Finished this one off today – So many teas to drink and so little time! End of May will be here before i know it :) Even playing around with this tea, i couldn’t make it hit the sweet spot that others seemed to have found. It always felt like a creamy black tea. not a bad cup, but not what i’d like to see form 52 teas :)

i drank this yesterday and it was a happy day..but then i had to deal with my foot and forgot to write a note. So more to come because crowkettle gave me enough for a couple cups! :)

Sample from crowkettle ok distraction set in while i went to go write the tasting note here. I wreked my foot this past weekend, so this morning, the husband drove me to physio so that i could get an assessment and now i’ve got to go to my dr to see if she can get me some x-rays so that we can figure out what exactly i’ve done. Ultrasound indicates i “probably” haven’t broken any bones…but a few more tests to be sure. All this..2 wks before i’m supposed to be hiking in the grand canyon hahahaha

so i don’t love mead. but i was hoping that this concoction would be up my alley since i do really enjoy genmaicha. However, this is pretty close to mead and therefore not quite what i want. Glad to try it though as it was calling to me in my last order :)

Oh no! Hopefully all is well in two weeks.

Ouf! Sil, I hope you are back in business in no time. Glad to hear that you are being taken care of. Send husband for epsom salts for soaking in the bath. That goes a long way in helping the things that can be easily helped.

(Good thing we did our chocolate tour last week.)

Roswell Strange

Curl up with a good cuppa, and take it easy!

Thanks all! X-rays come back tomorrow so hopefully there’s no fracture or anything. Physio seemed to have helped with movement, though I still have t red, swollen extrawide ankle lol. Here’s hoping that I can walk soon, even if it means no running for a while so that we can still hike!

Evol Ving Ness

Epsom salts, Sil, epsom salts. And tea, of course.

Oh, man! I hope you a speedy recovery and diagnosis! These things have the tendency for bad timing.

Soak and wrap.

:( Hope the x-rays come back negative and that you are able to get back to normal soon.

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling and am currently working on trying to get my other half to as many place in the world as possible.
