drank Campfire Strawberry by A Quarter to Tea

noms. super productive day today in terms of work and a few errands and running. Even though it’s been stupidly hot, i have persisted and i’m so close to being at the point where i just warm up, run for 30 mins and then CD. It’s been a long journey (7wks, not counting the 4 wks i did before i injured myself) and when i started i could barely do the walk/run intervals of 60 seconds without feeling like i could die. Now i’m running 27mins straight and feeling good! I’m almost done this tea, which while i’m sad to see it go, is a good thing with the pre orders from 52 teas set to be travelling to me shortly. i love the smokey strawberry of this one.

I’ve been drinking eta today but not really taking notes or wanting to review anything. I picked this one out since it seemed like it might be an interesting experiment to try.The leaves are tightly rolled but expand in to long leaves. The taste is smooth…no “oolongy” notes here, just slightly sweet though light in the brew. I’m going to play around with the steeping times and water to see if i can get a bolder flavour out of this one i think.

This heat/humidity is killing. Tea helps but just barely.

Noms. Need to hydrate a little more today given the temperature, humidity and the Run this morning. ugh. Pulled this one out and made it hot, to drink it cold haha. I won’t need to restock this one but it’s been fun to try out.

drank Pineapple Mimosa by The NecessiTeas

So apparently the way to drink this is with a tiny bit of sweetener. It makes the pineapple aspects of this pop and softens the mimosa aspects of the tea. glad i tried adding a tiny bit of sugar today.

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling and am currently working on trying to get my other half to as many place in the world as possible.
