9037 Tasting Notes
Another from crowkettle to finish off my green afternoon. This one is right up my alley even if it is a green tea :) the green base makes it sort of lighter and refreshing and just works well with the spices that are going on here. Not sure if i’m feeling the “buttered” aspet of the tea but i’m going to enjoy drinking up the rest of the sample :)
Final Count: 80
first tasting note on this one – that’s unfortunate haha This is another sample from crowkettle First off, when someone says creamsicle my first thought is orange creamsicle. So drinking this i needed to keep reaminding myself that it was leamon/lavender NOT orange. Thankfully, this isn’t a bouquet of lavender – which is one of those scents that i am just not a fan of. That being said, this is a relatively subdued blend. It’s not super lemoney, lavender like…more of a light lemon cream with something going on in the background that i wouldn’t necessarily call out as being lavender. decent enough blend, but not my favourite.
Sample from Crowkettle who managed to up my cupboard to 80 haha. I really wanted to love this one, but i think i prefer the gemaicha bases to the hojicha. I imagine the hojicha could make it more roasty but i’m just getting a slight marshmallow flavour. I’ve got a little more to try so i’l see if i can make it work a little better next time.
another from this afternoon – glad i got a bit of tea drinking in as well as a few short exercise sessions since the rain is seriously hampering my ability to run. I am not happy about it. still enjoying this tea – it seems to work well with a little bit of the orange peel in the brew :)
Final Count: 52 (until tomorrow)
