15061 Tasting Notes
New version from Anne – gotta say that this one is much creamier and caramel like than frank’s original version, but the pumpkin piece is a little less here than franks. That being said, I’m kinda ok with that because the base here is so very lovely, and makes this a much less picky cup of tea.
bumping the rating up on this one – not sure if it’s just a time factor, in that when i first started drinking it, it was too fresh but this seems to have mellowed out and is tastier than when i first started drinking it. there’s much more flavour happening here which makes me a happier camper.
last tea from the past few days – still loving this one and happier still that i’ve now had enough of it to be able to close the lid again with my bag closure on the bag haha. I know i’ve said it before but this is a lovely tea and perfect for anyone who doesn’t like your smokey varietal of Lapsang. This is not a smokey tea. it’s just delicious. true story.
Final Count: 121
i rather enjoy this tea….to the point where i think i should pick up a bit more before it goes away, but then i can’t help but wonder if i’ll get tired of the taste, since i don’t usually love david’s teas enough to go through 100g+ Still though, i need to try this one as a latte since that’s apparently the way to do it heh
I saw that! Thing is I’m working from 9-9 today (although, I do have a 2h break between 3-5…) and I don’t really “NEED” anything. I could get more banana nut bread though for lattes…
i have 27 points, so likely not worth it for me to buy anything since they all get reset in january (which i think is stupid)
I also agree the reset in January is stupid. I can understand when you get the free tea offers how they expire after a few months, but to erase your points every year is kind of a scam. You could have 99 point ($99 of purchasing) which would count for nothing.
Yeah, last year I had about 90 points and didn’t buy anything else and lost them all. I think I’ve spent $20 in DavidsTea this year though. They totally lost me as a customer.
What?! I never got the email for the double points thing. I guess it’s because I have their newsletters turned off lol. I’d better fix that.
Such a wonderful tea. I really need to organise my paris teas and figure out how i’m going to drink them all since it feels like i’m largely doing it one at a time, 100g by 100g lol. And there are a bunch that will end up being neglected if i do that. Maybe a rotation like dinosara or terri… hmm…
quick catch up time for me since i didn’t get to things last night (wine and whiskey wednesday). This one still makes me happy, though i am getting close-er to the end of the tin. Luckily it’s not a rare tin so i can always get more in the future. this + maple syrup = happy every day tea times.
