15049 Tasting Notes
this wasn’t technically part of my cupboard as i removed it after having a bad experience with this harvest. I saved the remainder that dexter sent me to try later on, since scott said that would be best.
Admittedly this is better than the first cup of this tea but i’m still curious as to why you’d sell a tea that you basically say needs to dry out for a long while. It makes for a bad experience when people drink it and means people are buying a tea they basically have to sit on, instead of it being ready to drink.
i just got “yes deared” by my other half. Trying to show him something by tilting my monitor… his response “nice!” me: you couldn’t even see that could you… him: shakes his head no. gee thanks DARLING. bah. this was my fruit tea today and still makes me happy. i can drink it hot or cold and it’s still a tasty cup!
i needed this one today. 4 days work weeks are always a little long for me if the holiday is on monday. if it’s on the friday, no big deal lol. Best part about today? Starbucks petit vanilla bean scones are back. BOOYAH baby! for the longest time i’ve only been able to get them in the US…but they’re back. yay!
all gone! because i can’t help myself…and because there was just enough for a delicious cup to enjoy this evening AND happened to get me to my sipdown goal for the long weekend hahaha 150 to 120! woot woot! go me!
yay for interesting teas! thanks for sending me this one omgsrsly i am quite enjoying this this afternoon. we tired the dog out at the dog park and then proceeded to make orange cupcakes with marshmallow cream frosting, dry rub ribs and later there will be awesome potatoes and salad in the house too!
this tea is just different. I can’t place the aroma, though there’s a familiarity to it. there’s a slight almost mint, but not mint taste to this one..the taste kind of reminds me of what outside smells like on the west coast…those early mornings on the island when the tide’s going out, it’s rained over night, and you’re walking through the trees on the trails… inhale….breath deeply…that’s what this tastes like. so good.
that’s why i love national parks dept from bellocq, and the one from whispering pines that is pine and elderberries.
one i had the other day took me to a canteen in a department store o.O and smelt of curry. both steeps!
Yeah, I really like this one. It’s a marsh/bog plant, so to me it smells like hiking on a misty day in certain areas. It doesn’t grow everywhere around here like it apparently does on the East coast. :)
