15061 Tasting Notes
Figured i should end the night off with a tea i’ve had before and enjoyed. This is another from variaTEA and is delicious. ginger and lemon…tasty! I managed to get through my sipdowns this weekend which makes me a happy camper – seventy billion to go, but at least i’m making progress. Here’s hoping for a few more good weekends with some more sipdowns so that I can get back on track before the end of the year. :)

meh. Another from variaTEA and while ginger makes me happy – licorice root does not since it makes everything all sweet like. I think this has the potential to be a decent blend – minus the licorice root but since thta’s not likely to change, no thanks. Especially if you look at sloane’s pricing. this is one of their cheaper teas and it’s still 17$ for a herbal (100g).
Whyyyyyyy do they put licorice root in everything? Ugh.
i dunno… i can handle it once a year in small doses..but lately it’s everywhere in large quantities
The only time I ever really go for licorice root is when I have a sore throat. I find it really helps!

omgsrsly likes to torment me with things i despise. :) this is another one of those teas. Lavender. blech. i also don’t need more in the boob department haha. I don’t really like this one – it’s just not anything delicious and the lavender is just too much.
bah. lost my tasting note. Long story short. I hate blergamot. I hate floral teas. the smell of this one is terrible. like potpourri…and blergamot. blech. taste wise though? it’s not as terrible as all that – i think it’s helped by the fact that it’s an EG cream. Appreciate the share omgsrsly keep the gross things coming :)

DUDE. Did you sign up for a gross tea exchange or something? If so, I have a few questionable brews I could try out on you…

i’m with omgsrsly on this one. it’s mostly just toasted rice. with a hint of orange and mint. it’s not a bad tea but it’s just not satisfying. I’d rather have a genmaicha or the hojicha lupicia one that i had earlier today. Still nice to try something new though.
Another from variaTEA and i am a fan of this one. It’s a smooth, very slightly smokey brew. There’s a little bit of a malty taste to this one as well. I wish i had teavivre keemun to compare it to but i think this one is a little less preferred. Still, a really nice afternoon cup while i relax and make cookies.
