15006 Tasting Notes
yay for engagement pics, wedding shoes and things starting to finally come together. One more thing off the list, so things are going well. This tea is becoming my go to work tea when i want something a little fruity but also richer than a straight up fruit tea. Enter…caramel fruit tea lol loving it!
this was one from missB to be fair a number have been, but since there are some that i picked up and some that others gave me, i’m issuing a general thank you! to everyone who has shared teabags with me as i go through some today heh. I appreciate all the fun trials from people.
i enjoyed this one – very much that generic sort of red fruit tea, but it was tasty. Maybe spring/summer is a better time for me to drink those combinations. this was refreshing and if i’d had more tea bags i might have tried it as a cold brew because i think with a little sweetness this would make an excellent iced beverage!
let me start this by saying i hate mate. Every time i have it, i am not a fan. However, i ADORE chocolate orange. So i tried this. the smell is amaaaazing. delicious chocolate orange and yum all around.
taste wise…i can ALMOST get over the mate because of the delicious chocolate orange. almost. I see how the mate adds to that thicker feeling….but i wish i could take this flavouring and add it to a malty black tea. THAT would be fantastic.
smells like…. something familiar..not quite pineapple but sort of if you really think hard about it.
tastes like… burnt fake pineapple. if that makes sense. there’s another flavour here i can’t place that is fruity…somewhere in between pineapple and peach…but there’s a burnt taste here. Funnily enough, i don’t hate this nearly as much as others have… it’s in pineapple/ not really..but it’s not bad haha
HOLY RUM…oh and a little vanilla. haha this smells like an insanely creamy rum cocktail. Kinda makes me long for my caramel rum milkshake heh. all that being said, there’s an after taste to this that i’m not a fan of it’s a bit artificial like..and reminds me a little bit of medicine from when i was a kid. greats to try though and i appreciate the sharing of tea bags with me from tea friends!
this was a tasty treat today – a deliciously guava like tea with ginseng. I think in the grand scheme of things, i could have done without the ginseng but the guava flavouring was spot on. really interesting tea to try!
Where did you pick these up? I can only get them from a friend who travels back and forth to Hawaii.
You go, girl!
