Second steep! I thought this should have its own post.
I cut the teabag so I could fully experience the leaves unfurling on this tea. This was a very generous sample. The leaves are large and a beautiful dark green color. I love oolongs so much! They are one of my favorites to watch while steeping.
The smell is still very strong with this steep. I used a lower volume of water this time; approximately 6.5oz instead of 8oz. mmm this steep is every bit as good as the first. Very sweet and full of flavor. The base is really great on this tea. It has this very almost powdery sweetness on the back end of the sip that reminds me of eating smarties.
