This will be my second crack at this tea. I think that the smell has toned down a little. I’m actually surprised because all other online reviews of this tea are seemingly positive; most giving it 5/5 or 4/5 stars. I guess I must be in the minority of people who find the smell of this overtly perfume-esque.
I followed slightly different brewing parameters this time: 5min at 180F. This time the coconut is much more apparent. I still am craving more from the chai in this. When I read this and Peeta and both had chai, I thought it meant CHAI!!! But alas, I would need much more spice to satisfy my unique cravings.
ahhh. I must admit that trying it this time was much better than my first go! The coconut is much more pronounced in the flavor when compared to the overall smell of the product. There is some other fruit in this as well; along with some floral notes. I am only really disappointed by the fact that I was expecting more spice and maybe I will have to add that myself via some lemongrass.

Preparation
180 °F / 82 °C 5 min, 0 sec
