Dry Leaf: I get a sweet vegetal aroma. I can even see someone say grassy.
Wet Leaf: I get a vegetal aroma almost like a boiled green bean or something close to that.
Liquor: Clear and pale.
Taste: I get a light refreshing sweet vegetal flavor. The broth gives your tongue a slight dryness on your tongue that is nice.
Overall Opinion: I give this tea a 90. It is crisp, light refreshing and totally reminds me of drinking a Long Jing. If you are a Long Jing tea drinker I think you will enjoy this tea also.

What setup did you use (vessel, leaf-water ratio)?

Tea_is_wisdom

Sorry Kompir just saw your post please forgive me. I used a Sama Doyo A-06 500ML gongfu teapot. I used 1 or 2 teaspoons per 8oz. I hope that helps. Maybe I should add what I used and amount of leaf per water ratio to the reviews. Thanks for bringing that up to me. I try to make my reviews short sweet and to the point but I guess I am leaving things out and other suggestion let me know. Thank you and take care.

Dry Leaf: I get a old damp wood aroma.
Wet Leaf: Has a warm rich old damp wood aroma.
Liquor: Dark brown.
Taste: This has a rich and smooth earthy taste with a very gentle sweetness to it.
Overall Opinion: I give this tea a 88. I also noticed that I didn’t get as many steepings as you would usually get with a puerh. I tend to be more partial to puerh cakes but, for a on the go options this is a good option. You can easily take this with you to work,to school, or even a road trip.

Dry Leaf: Has a sweet caramel like aroma with a light coffee aroma with a very faint floral aroma way off in the background.
Wet Leaf: Has a warm sweet malty aroma with a touch of floral.
Liquor: Is deep dark amber think almost like black coffee.
Taste: At first it was supper bitter. I couldn’t drink it plain. I added milk and sugar than this tea turn sweet almost caramel like and malty with a touch of a floral flavor in the background and it did not overwhelm the tea either. The broth of this tea is kind of watery and leaves almost a raisin flavor that lingers in the mouth.
Overall Opinion: I have to give this a 86. I tend to drink my teas plain without adding anything to it. But, this tea came off very bitter plain. I added sugar and milk which made a big difference for this tea. I think this is a great morning tea that any coffee drinker could find a pleasurable alternative to there normal coffee routine.

Dry Leaf: Floral with a very slight citrus aroma.
Wet Leaf: Citrus with a faint vegetal aroma in the background.
Liquor: I got a honey color.
Taste: I get a floral with just a faint hint of citrus. The broth has a thick or rich feel in the mouth. Makes the top of tongue feel sticky and causes a slight dryness in the mouth. I mean this in a pleasant way. Nice.
Overall Opinion: I give this a 90. The taste of this tea is light and pleasant. I would recommend this tea for a change of pace or to all the traditional tea drinkers that want try a blend or flavored tea.

Dry Leaf: Subtle smokey aroma.
Wet Leaf: I get more of a smoke aroma.
Liquor: Medium to dark amber color.
Taste: This tea has a smooth smoke flavor with a touch of sweetness.
Overall Opinion: I give this a 87. This tea reminded me of a Lapsang Souchong without that pine aspect. I would have expected this tea to be more of a Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) but there wasn’t that tart or tangy or even sour aspect to this tea. So, if your looking for something more like a Lapsang Souchong than a normal Wuyi Rock than you have found it.

Dry Leaf: All citrus! The tea looks dark and twisted with fruit pieces I would guess a oolong.
Wet Leaf: I get like a citrus with a heat note you could even say kind of smokey.
Liquor: I would call this a medium to dark amber.
Taste: It has a smooth citrus taste with a slight smokey flavor almost earthy but to gentle so call it earthy completely.
Overall Opinion: I give this tea a 88. If you are a traditional tea drinker and interested in a blend I think this is a easy one to get a long with. And because this has citrus in it I bet it would be great iced too.

Dry Leaf: A wonderful jasmine aroma.
Wet Leaf: Jasmine with a vegetal aroma in the background.
Liquor: Is pale that is clear not murky and has a nice brightness too.
Taste: I get a smooth and gentle vegetal or maybe hay like flavor with a subtle jasmine flavor in the background.
Overall Opinion: I give this a 90. If you are a white tea drinker and want a subtle change try this with a nice subtle hint of jasmine that doesn’t overwhelm this delicate tea.

Dry Leaf: I get a creamy or milkiness off the bat and I could see someone even say almost coconut like.
Wet Leaf: That creaminess or milky aroma still up front with a slight vegetal in the background.
Liquor: this had a nice yellowish color.
Taste: Has a nice creamy or milk like flavor for several infusions be for the vegetal aspect comes to the front and the creamy milk like flavor falls back then disappears.
Overall Opinion: I give this tea a solid 91. This is a great tea for the milk oolong lovers that like a more up front creamy milk flavor.

Wet Leaf: I get some heat notes like a roasted or baked aroma with a sweet vegetal aroma.
Liquor: It was a reddish type of color.
Taste: There is a roasted or baked taste that comes to the top with a slight sweetness and a very gentle or soft buttery flavor in the background.
Overall Opinion: I enjoy Ti Guan Yin’s so no exceptions here. I give this a solid 90. This is a nice approachable tea you can enjoy just about anytime well at least to me.
