I got 3 good steeps from this tea. The first steep was as directed (205 for 2 mins). By the time I got to the 3rd steep I was up to 4 mins.

Color: Brownish-red, dark like black tea
Aroma: More light floral than fruity with slight caramel note
Body: Medium mouthfeel
Flavor: Sour/tart note hits both front and back of palate, slight fruitiness

I added honey to the 3rd steep. What a difference! The unpleasant tartness was replaced by a lovely sweet cherry note and the caramel taste was much fuller.

In the past year I started trending away from coffee in favor of tea. Once I began to regularly drink tea, I become fascinated with the whole process. I drew upon memories of my Welsh grandfather and the custom of afternoon tea in his family as well as my experience with the formal Tea Ceremony in Japan.
I dove into the world of tea full of inquiry and pleasure-seeking, and I have not been disappointed! Steepster (especially Steepster Select)has helped me find new teas to try and I can share my explorations with fellow enthusiasts (or live vicariously through their trials!). How great is that?
