606 Tasting Notes
I have to admit that I’ve kind of fallen in love with this one. I can’t get over how much I love it. I am so sad about this. haha It’s the only matcha so far that I like. I’m actually thinking about buying the bowl and whisk kit so I can make this at home. I might actually do that this weekend. Or maybe sooner if I can’t wait any longer…
My husband tried it and said that with the milk added it tastes like those cadbury chocolate eggs with the candy shell. YUM!
I have fallen in love with this tea. It’s absolutely lovely. The gentle fruitiness of this one with the calming lavender is such a great combo. And the interesting part? I’ve only had this one iced. I know I should try it hot, but I just love it cold so much. I have this one several times a week right now iced because I love it so much.
And funny enough, as someone that doesn’t like hibiscus, this one is surprising because the hibiscus isn’t that strong. Honestly, it’s very hard to even notice it’s in there.
I’m pleasantly surprised by this one! I only steeped it for about 3mins and that was absolutely perfect. I added some soy cream because that’s I had and it made it so yummy! Lovely blueberry flavour. I didn’t think I would like this one as I had the bagged version but honestly it was so good. If my mom-in-law still has some the next time I come down I’ll probably have it again but making sure I don’t oversteep it
Trying this one next to the Tie Kwan Yin tea to see which one of these straight teas I prefer as they both say floral to taste.
I’m preferring this one over the other one. The colour of this one is light yellow, which is lovely. I find the taste to be light and floral but not overly. It’s so light and refreshing. I could actually see this one being really good as an iced tea surprisingly even though I’m not much of one for floral teas. But this one is so good and I know I’ll enjoy the last spoonful that I have.
Trying this one next to the Pouchong Oolong tea to see which one of these straight teas I prefer as they both say floral to taste.
So, this one steeped up goes a orange-ish/brown. I like the colour, but I knew there was going to be some pow to this one compared to the other.
I found this one to be definitely roasted and very strong. I actually don’t care for this one at all. There is some floral to it, but I get a lot more roastedness and I almost get a bit of… bitterness to it. I think this one would be much better with a three minute steep instead of the four that I went with. I used the exact same water as the other tea, but this one just isn’t working for me.
Sipdown. Sad sipdown.
I miss this tea already. I made the last bit of this one as a latte. It didn’t really do it justice the way I had hoped, but what can you do? Anyways, I would love for this one to come back, but since it’s been a few years since it was out, I have my suspicions that it’s not coming back. :( So sad. oh well.
I have had this tea for a while and I really wanted to like it. It wasn’t a cheap tea.
So I got it and honestly I have not been all that impressed with it. It’s very weak watermelon flavour paired with floral, which is something I don’t care for. I have tried this one both hot and cold. Today it’s cold and I just… I don’t like it. Anyways, I think I’m going to say goodbye to this one even though I have a bit of it left. Oh well. Live and learn
Sorry for spamming with so many reviews tonight. Just playing catch up.
Either way, my husband got this one iced with agave and I really didn’t think it would be good. I don’t like pu’erhs that much so when he got it, i thought… no.
Anyways, it was actually pretty good. He like it a bit more than I did, but it wasn’t too bad. It was definitely a juicy orange but it did have the slight earthiness to it because of the pu’erh.
I got my husband a tin of it and hopefully he’ll enjoy it.
