34 Tasting Notes
I was really worried about whether or not I would like this because it had such a low score on here and some of the reviews were not very favorable, but I decided to try it because it had my beloved coconut in it. This is a lot different than the other coconut teas I have tried so far, more floral and not as coconutty but still very unique. I like it but I don’t love it, only bc I like to be hit in the face with coconut and this is more subtle. It is a good tea though, and while I will enjoy what I have of it, I don’t know that I would re-order.
This is really good! There are giant pieces of fruit in this and I actually ate them after I got done steeping them (don’t judge me lol). I love tropical flavors so this is right up my ally, it’s a mixture of dates/banana/coconut flavor and I used about 3-4 tsps for 12 ounces of water and steeped for about 10-15 minutes, and it’s very strongly flavored. I am going to need some more of this ASAP I wish I would have ordered more of it!! I can’t wait to try the other teas I ordered from River Teas.
I really liked this the first time I drank it, it was so sweet and vanilla-y!! I love vanilla! Anyway I am trying to convert to truvia and I think that may be why this is not tasting that good to me this time around…. I’m going to have to try another cup with a different sweetener! I’m getting soooo behind on my tasting notes thanks to being in grad school :(
I am in love with this tea. One day my tea tastes may grow up, but today is not that day. I just ordered a crap load more of this from Davids. I don’t know what goji is supposed to taste to like this, but this tastes like a big melon-y gulp of fruity goodness. Just be careful not to let brew for too long because then the hibiscus seems to come out and make it tart. I was about to give up on Davids when I got this, and I actually only ordered it to keep another tea company, but it ended up being the big winner out of the bunch. Love!!
I have been getting sooo behind on my tasting notes!! I got a bunch of samples from Octavia Tea on a whim just because they looked interesting and so far, so good. I haven’t had that much experience with white tea, but this is nice and sweet. I don’t know that I will go for the full size, because I can’t really distinguish either the melon or the pear, but it is an enjoyable cup of tea.
Yay!!! Coconut!!! A coconut tea that actually tastes like coconut :) I was soooo happy when I took a sip of this just now and it had a nice creamy coconutty flavor. I was a little worried about the chocolate bc I was concerned it would overpower the coconut, but it does not at all, it complements it nicely. I really like this so far! The coconut doesn’t taste artificial, and everything blends together well. I will probably re-order this one, it is a really nice blend.
So I recently got my order from Della Terra and I ordered several one ounce bags just to try them out, because I have never had Della Terra tea before. I have to say that I am glad I did not get a bigger size of this… One of the main reasons that I got this was because one of the ingredients was coconut, but I am not tasting hardly any coconut :( the lavender is coming out a lot though. It’s not bad, definitely a good bed time tea, but probably not something I will reorder.
I really like this tea and was super happy to see that it was on sale for 75% off and promptly bought 5 bags, which arrived today. Yay!! I’m sure they will last me awhile. I am a HUGE fig fan and for me I have to use a little more than I usually would but the fig really comes out in this and I love it :) it’s really good both hot and cold. I am paranoid that it will be discontinued since it was on sale for so cheap and I am considering buying more backups, to have just in case.
Love love love this one! I ordered a sample size pouch of this with my last order from Harney and Sons bc they had sent me a free sample of the regular Paris and I really liked it, so I figured I would try the decaf version bc I’m always on the look out for a good decaf or tisane. I have found that a lot of decaf teas lack flavor though. Not this one!! Tastes almost exactly like the regular Paris! Very flavorful, smooth berries and citrus over black tea, it all flows together really well. Black teas can be hit or miss with me, it seems that sometimes they are harsh (this could be brewing errors on my part though), but this one is perfect!! I added just a tiny bit of half and half and this was a dessert-y dream! I was able to get 2 steeps out of these leaves and enjoyed the sample so much I ordered more as soon as I got home from work. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those “old faithful” teas, like my citrus lavender sage. So happy I discovered this!! And it’s super cheap!!
This is my first coconut tea ever! It isn’t bad but it isn’t what I was expecting at all. I think I may have set my hopes too high. I am a coconut junkie and love all things coconut, and after digging through the discussion board and searching the teas for “coconut” I was hoping that this would be my holy grail. Alas, I think the search will continue. I will try more coconut tea but hold off on rating this one, and see if maybe I grow to love it more once I sample some others. If anyone has any coconut suggestions I would love to hear them!
