drank Banana Tie Guan Yin by 52teas

This is over a year old at this point, so I was hesitant when I found it buried under other teas. However, this is still really good. I think I underleafed on the first cup so I’m getting mostly a candy-ish banana flavor and a faint whiff of tea. I’m guessing I need a bit extra since it’s older. We’ll see how the second round goes.

I’m pretty sure this is from last year’s Christmas sampler, so this is likely getting old. It’s almost gone, so I’m working on using it up. I don’t remember what this was like back when I first tried it. Currently, the sip starts out with some candy banana flavors with just a hint of grass, kind of like someone dropped the candy on the ground, then picked it back up and gave it to me (not in a bad way lol). The more it cools, the more I lose the distinct flavors and end up with a general savoriness.

I’m still trying to figure out how o brew teas to my liking in my new location, so take this one with a grain of salt.

When it was fresh and hot, this one had a bit more of a raspberry candy flavor, with some of the tea itself at the end. Then I got distracted with homework and let it cool, too much. I could taste a bit of tartness from the raspberry and that was about it.

drank Vanilla Honeybush by Tea Sparrow

One of my favorite honeybush teas. The honeybush flavor works really well with the vanilla. I just wish I had more!

A tea at work for a stressful day. The lavender is tasty and soothing, and the green tea is pretty nice, at least for a green

Aww, I hope your day gets better.

I am with ya. Hope it has upturned for you.

Thanks! Honestly, the day can never be too bad when you work at a place with cats everywhere to hug

I barely wrote about this, but I drank it so much and now I’m on my last cup. I will miss this one, it’s just such an easy go to morning drink. Now that I’m out, i want to order more from AQTT, but I know I need self control

I like this one too!

drank Prince Vladimir by Kusmi Tea

So I took a trip to France, forgetting that Kusmi, which I’ve always wanted to try was from Paris. Then I saw the giant Champs-Elysee store and knew I had to go. I picked up a caramel tea, as well as three of the tins, including this one. I told myself I needed them because I was about to be on a boat for a week and a half without tea if I didn’t get them.

Well now I’m back and many of these are proving to be great breakfast teas. I had this one this morning with some almond milk. Very smooth and tasty, with lots of bergamoty goodness. So glad I got to go to the store and ask about teas in my broken French!

That is so great that you were all to go to France! And practice your French. :)

I’ve lived in Hawaii, Mississippi, Colorado, Maryland, Texas, and California, and I’m currently in Oklahoma while the boyfriend gets his grad schooling on.

I’ve been into tea for about five years now and my favorite thing is that there is still so much to learn! I personally prefer black and oolong teas, though I love trying new teas whatever they may be.

I also knit quite a bit and sell things on my etsy when I’m not busy with school.

I really love swapping, so if anything in my cupboard catches your eye, please let me know!
