Lupicia’s melon flavor is SO GOOD. No matter how many times I drink it, I’m still struck by how tasty it is.

I will definitely be purchasing this again once I get through some more sipdowns.

drank Peach Brulée by Tea Forte

Another sipdown from my Tea Forte sampler.

This is strangely lacking in flavor. I’m not tasting peach or anything that vaguely resembles a brûlée. I’m tasting rooibos, so much so that I checked the ingredients to confirm…not seeing it.

I just started on sipping through a Tea Forte sampler I bought quite awhile ago. I made this hot, though admittedly it seems much more suited for an iced tea.

The hibiscus works really well with the bright raspberry flavor. Not usually something I would gravitate towards, and not terribly unique. But, an overall tasty herbal/fruity option.

Would definitely be better iced.

I’ve had this for quite awhile and have been putting off drinking it, as I was suspecting I wouldn’t care for it (I also don’t drink teas at night very often). I was right, this isn’t for me.

The combination of hibiscus and lavender just does not work. The 2 flavors seem to be fighting rather than working harmoniously, and it makes for a really odd sour/herbal combination. I could detect a bit of lemon verbena, but no rose or chamomile over the hibiscus.

Flavors: Herbal, Sour

The idea of hibiscus + lavender gives me metaphorical hives! Yeesh!

Spring 2021 Harvest

This was quite tasty! Very malty and chocolatey. An easy drinking black tea, and one I would consider purchasing.

Breakaway matcha is still the best in my opinion. This blend in particular makes the smoothest, most beautiful tasting iced matcha. Sad to have finished it, but I have a couple more Breakaway varietals to finish before I restock.

This last cup had very little strawberry flavor, but it was still delicious! I will probably purchase it again at some point.

Coldbrew. Didn’t love the coldbrew of this, as it got super bitter.

Hello! I live in Los Angeles with my boyfriend and 3 cats [+however many foster cats I have at the moment]. I’m also obsessed with all things spooky.

I became obsessed with the world of tea through DavidsTea years ago. I love to try new brands, so I’m constantly on the look out for new-to-me companies.

Favorite Brands:
Whispering Pines
The Necessiteas
August Uncommon
Jolie Tea Co.

Favorite flavors:
Sweet Potato

Red Rooibos

Though, I’ll taste anything once!

I mainly brew western style.I like my tea extremely strong, so I tend to use wayyyyy more dry leaf than suggested.
