Thank you to Dustin for the share! I didn’t realize that this was a black/green blend, so used water that was a bit too hot. There’s a bit of bitterness because of that, but it’s still drinkable. This is such a Southeast Asian flavor profile. It very much tastes like a coconut jam, with coconut being at the forefront and some buttery notes that linger. The pandan is also quite present and lends a bright, green flavor.
