1988 Tasting Notes
For the last year or so, I’ve really been neglecting all of my non-black teas. I hadn’t even really been drinking flavored black teas often. But, the straight black teas in the morning have started to give me heartburn (old) and so I’m venturing back into my non-black teas and finding some old favorites. This is one of those. I loved it years ago and have quite a stash. It’s still tasty! Creamy lemon with a nice shortbread/cakey base.
Flavors: Buttery, Cake, Cookie, Custard, Lemon
I go through matcha phases. Sometimes I don’t drink it for months, sometimes I drink it everyday. I’m going through a daily matcha phase right now, of course when there is a global shortage and it’s difficult to restock.
This is nice. Very light, no bitterness when made as an iced americano. Really bright and grassy.
Ended up purchasing a few more bags, since it’s so different from the other back teas I keep stocked. Still shockingly fruity, so much so that if I didn’t know otherwise, I would guess there was added strawberry flavoring. It smells SO fruity.
Flavors: Floral, Fruity, Juicy, Strawberry

I’ve been drinking matcha more often over the last few weeks, so decided to order a few options from Tezumi. Drank through this relatively quickly. No bitterness, but it’s not my favorite matcha flavor. Snap pea and spinach forward.
Flavors: Green Beans, Snow Peas, Spinach
