While I understand the distinction of this type of tea, it wasn’t a taste I enjoyed too much. My tastes in tea are pretty much iron-clad, and this just wasn’t it.

It tastes exactly like the marketing blurb indicates. It’s quite good, and well balanced flavor-wise. The tea underneath can still be tasted.

I didn’t like this one. It’s very complex but I couldn’t deal with the maltiness, almost a smokiness, of the tea.

Flavors: Cocoa, Honey, Malt, Plum, Smoke

This is a rather nice blackberry flavored tea that isn’t overwhelmed by the flavoring used. The tea leaves themselves can still be tasted, which is the sign of a great flavored tea.

Flavors: Blackberry, Flowers, Sweet

Now branded 100% Pure Oolong Tea. Vegetal, bitter, sweet hit on the end, citrusy, light, one of the strangest oolongs I’ve tasted.

drank Lipton Black Tea by Lipton

I love reading the reviews of this tea. The loose type is a smidge better than the bags, but not by a lot. Got my fill of this during a week-long stay in a psych ward at a hospital (don’t ask). I love that nearly everyone here that has reviewed this didn’t buy it on purpose, or if they did, simply had no other choice. Isn’t that the case with this tea most of the time? I find little enjoyment drinking Lipton’s stuff. What I have of it is now mixed with a steamed Darjeeling and a bold Assam that drowns the taste of this (yes, I am a type that will use the tea somehow, no matter what).

I found the chai flavor to be way too bold (I’m sensitive to it and it’s not my favorite taste), but I found when I cut this 50/50 with unflavored mate, it backed off the intense chai flavor and allowed the mate to come through.
