drank Tsugaru Green by Lupicia

I am far behind on trying all of the things I received in swaps plus some things I have recently purchased so I’ll try to get on it, I swear. :)

I was a bit worried about this one after reading the reviews but I actually don’t mind it. It really smells like apple gummy candy or jolly ranchers when you open the bag but the flavor is a lot more mellow. It certainly isn’t the most natural apple flavor I’ve ever had and I’m not sure I can even taste the bancha. I mean, yes it tastes like a green tea but personally I’m a bit overwhelmed by the flavoring. I think this really needs to be made into an iced tea where it would be much nicer, a cold brew experiment would seem to be in order soon.

Not too bad but probably not a repurchase for me.

I am a fan of many different teas but my favorites are blacks and oolongs, chai, also like darjeeling and pu-erh. I’n always learning and expanding my horizons!

Dislikes include: bergamot, jasmine, highly tannic or bitter teas, overly judgmental and bitter people. :)

Live in San Francisco, I’m a SINK (single income, no kids) and love the urban life, but traveling out to the middle of nowhere is always fun too.

I tend to not drink things I know I will hate so a lot of my tea ratings are on the higher side. Here’s my rating system, sorta
