This came in my last Butiki order… yay for new tea orders!
When I opened up the bag it didn’t seem to me that the dried leaf smelled very pumpkin-y at all, but after the tea is brewed you get the flavor. I am certainly picking up the clove and cinnamon notes and having an oolong for the base of this instead of a black tea gives it a nice gentle quality. I might try adding a bit of ginger to this next time around, if there is any I’m not really tasting it.
I liked this a bit better after adding some soymilk to it, so it’s more like a latte and more like a milkshake! I guess this would be more appropriate for fall than the spring weather we are having, but I have definitely enjoyed this and have no doubt I’ll be polishing off the entire bag soon. :)
