Really awful. Nabbed these from a hotel room and brewed at home. Ultimately only useful in warming up my cup, because it went down the drain after a few sips. Even with a long brew the flavour was nowhere to be found. I suppose it might be sturdy enough in colour (dark) to handle loads of milk & sugar, so if that’s your fancy then at least it won’t turn pure white from a few drops of milk. Avoid this tea if at all possible. Probably better than cheap-brand Orange Pekoe but not by much.

drank Camomile & Apple by Twinings

I consider this my perfect ideal of what camomile should taste like. The apple softens the sour-ish notes that can accompany camomile. Contrary to Twinings’ description, however, the tea is not fruity. The apple is subtle and works very, very well. Really delicious. Make sure to try this instead of your default camomile.

Really delicious black tea. The Ceylon and Jasmine come through but the lemon (thankfully) is very slight and does not overpower. Sometimes a touch of bitterness (astringency?) but haven’t experienced this lately. This has become my “default” black tea and my parents have started swapping this in place of their old orange pekoe.
