Rooibos is actually an evergreen South African shrub of the pea family. It could be a life saver for pregnant women in their third trimester who are suffering from heartburns. Rooibos tea is commonly prepared in the same manner as black tea and milk and sugar are added to taste. Taste it to feel the difference.

I have already reviewed about Rooibos. Check my previous review. To repeat, Rooibos is a is a broom-like member of the Fabaceae family of plants growing in South Africa’s fynbos which gives the reddish look for the tea. Drink it along with honey mixed with it. You will feel the real difference.

Being sourced from Darjeeling, this tea surely stands apart from others. The colour of the tea is light and clear. First Flush is defined as the very first plucking of a tea plant’s harvest season. The new growth leaves plucked during First Flush are the youngest and most tender part of the tea plant and are said to yield the purest and freshest cup of tea that plant is capable of producing. So now you know the process, you would also be convinced about the quality aspect of the product.

This cannot be compared with the first flush tea which I have reviewed since the first flush tea is of first quality and more strong. Second flush is less withered, consequently more oxidized and hence this may not appeal as equally as first flush but if you are averse to stronger aroma, this would just suit you well for your taste and preference.
