drank La Belle Helene by Dammann Frères
3240 tasting notes

This tea must be discontinued, because I can not find it on the Dammann Freres or Summit websites. I wanted to see if there was a more detailed description of the tea.

The aroma is really nice, with sweet fruitiness that reminds me of a great Lady Grey. It says this is pear and caramel, but it made us think of spiced pears with a little cinnamon. It is a smooth, nicely flavored tea that needs no additions.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fourteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
