drank J.E. Oolong Milky by THEODOR
3240 tasting notes

I got a sample sachet of this one in my birthday order, and oh my goodness, oh my goodness, OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS! This. This was wonderful. I am going to have to place a The O Dor order because these teas have been amazing.

Creamy. Oh so creamy. Hint of butter. Smooth. So easy to resteep and actually get a really good cup of tea.

This is one of the highest rated milk oolongs on here-how does it compare to Mandala’s?

I haven’t had Mandala’s, but perhaps someone who has had both can chime in! Daylon: have you had Premium Silky Green from Bird Pick? It is sold as a green but most on here swear it is actually a milk oolong. When I called the shop, they didn’t even know that oolongs could be anything other than roasted. I must have gotten a trainee….

LOL
I have not had that one and I saw that. It’s also been highly ranked as a green tea. Funny enough, my professor asked if the tea I served recently was a green instead of an oolong and I then told him that oolong is the entire spectrum between Green and Black lol.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fourteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
