My husband says he couldn’t be a tea reviewer. “It was good. It tasted like tea,” would be his standard review.

But I made a big pot of this tonight to go with supper, and right away on the first sip he said, “This is GOOD. It’s expensive, isn’t it?” Ha ha! He knows what he likes!

Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it and you can always resteep. Plus the more you buy, the more you save. And then you could get more of it as your free samples. So…

We had it with food – leftovers of Asian take-out – and it was delish and there was enough flavor to stand up to the rich food. After the meal, we kept drinking it, and it was really effective at clearing the palate and was so refreshing. The flavor lingers. There was no bitterness or sour taste, but it was nicely brisk and felt fresh. Good tea, worth every penny.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fourteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
