Sipdown

This is a lovely tea for breakfast or to pair with afternoon tea time goodies. Like most Lupicia teas, it calls for a rather short steep of 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, but this one may benefit from a slightly shorter one and also don’t overleaf. I prefer it freshly hot as I don’t use milk and sugar and it gets an edge as it cools if you have slightly overleafed as I did this morning, due to the “too much for this pot but not enough to save for a cup later” dilemma.

I have repurchased before and I expect I will repurchase again someday, as I really like this one.

Edited to add: I decided to resteep these last leaves for a sweet tea. Absolutely delicious.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
