Sipdown

Drinking this today, my feelings are the same as ten months ago. It is a gentle black and oolong tea with light blackcurrant flavor. It is like a very mild version of Paris by Harney in a way. It is different enough that I can see having both on shelf. Currently, due to this being a sipdown, I have neither.

Ashman would choose this when drinking tea alone as a safe option that he knew he liked. He prefers this one to Paris because he isn’t a fan of bergamot, though he tolerates it in some blends.

Since I wanted to finish the tin I made a huge pot and iced and sweetened half for his lunch tomorrow.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
