I received a sample of this with my order. I’ve been trying to branch out and I’ve been wanting to get into oolongs for a while. This tea smells extremely sweet in the bag, and the sweetness smell only mellows out a little when brewed. This concerned me slightly since I’m not a huge fan of very sweet teas, but the sweetness is not unbearable. It’s sweeter than I’m used to, but I like the nuttiness so I’ll just have to get used to the sweetness. I’m not sure that I would drink this all the time, but it’s nice to have around for when I want something different. I drank one cup plain (steeped as the notes say) and left the rest brewing. I drank the second cup with a tiny bit of milk. The longer steep time seems to bring out the oolong base more, and the milk makes the almond flavor pop.

Very bright and invigorating. Smells only like grapefruit in the bag but brews more evenly. Sweet and Citrus are the primary flavors, but there is still depth to it. Definitely a great way to combat tiredness. I personally find it too sweet for a morning tea, so probably best as an afternoon/desert tea.

Very cozy and comforting and the spice is well balanced. It is a good tea that won’t distract from your book (or whatever else you need to be focused on). Great for people who want something enjoyable that doesn’t require conscious attention to enjoy fully/properly. Excellent for reading/studying.
Someone bought this for me because I was drinking the regular sleepytime every night to help me sleep and looking for something a little different. While the vanilla flavor definitely smooths out the herbal flavor of the sleepytime, which slightly disappoints me, I love this tea anyway. I drink it on particularly bad night because the added vanilla definitely helps me get to sleep.
