I am not going to rate this tea because it was really very good. Excellent ingredients, excellent mix and I would recommend it but for me personally it was not to my liking because I was expecting something really sweet and it was not. I guess the idea I had in my head did not match what it turned out to be and I refuse to lower this teas rating score because I wanted a cloyinging sweet dessert tea. It was also very much on the cinnamon side and while I like a touch of cinnamon in my tea this one was a little much for me.
Again this tea is well blended but just not my thing.

I have a sample of this too and am really looking forward to it! I don’t think anything from Butiki will be super sweet; I think she recommends adding a bit of rock sugar? I need to pick some of that up… (Have you tried the Raspberry Truffle? I found it sweet/tasty enough with the chocolate chips to be a dessert tea for me).
I only had sugar in the raw and tried that but it didn’t taste right. Nope I have not tried the raspberry yet – at least I don’t think I have lol.
Yep, Krystaleyn is right. I don’t add sweetened fruit or sugar to any of the flavored teas so they don’t come off as really sweet without adding the sugar yourself. I’ve made this one really sweet before by adding about 1 tablespoon of crystal sugar per 8oz of tea. That may sound like a lot but its not the same equivalent as regular cane sugar. That’s how I sample this tea at events and it gets a lot of positive feedback. It tastes exactly like pumpkin creme brulee to me even down to the slightly burned sugar topping.
