First sip – Nice balance of chamomile and other herbal elements.
This tea is a wonderful herbal tea with a nice sweetness and a good balance of mint and vanilla. It also has a great chamomile taste that is not bitter, but sweet and blends well with the herbal elements of this tea.
Like others have said this tea looks really strange in the bag, but once it brews it turns into a great tea.
Overall, it’s a great tea that I will enjoy many cups of.
1st taste – Nice and grassy but I get a little bit of a dirt taste to this that’s not so pleasant. This tea smells nice but not very sweet.
I added honey to this tea and I thought it was much better with a little bit of sweetness.
This tea seems very fine and seems like a great tea, it’s just not my favorite.
This is my second tea from the Steepster Select box.
First impression – I began steeping this tea and within a few seconds the smell of this tea was absolutely amazing. It has a lush honey smell with a sweet fresh cut tobacco undertone.
First sip – Crisp and sweet with absolutely no bitterness. Nice and mild and quite fragrant (in a good way).
It has some of the flavors that I like in a good green tea but with a much sweeter base and a nice deep tobacco flavor. I like this quite well without any sugar or cream. It’s a nice flavor and a great tea. I think this is a new favorite. Highest rating i have given a tea yet.
Edit – This tea gets even sweeter as it cools! Yummmmm!
This is a nice chai, I really enjoyed the experience of purchasing it at the Port Townsend location in Washington while visiting family.
This chai is good for those who like to have less spice and more tea. The spices have a slight saltiness to them that is different from most of the chai I have had, it’s very pleasant.
The flavors of tea are nice, although I like more spice and less tea flavor in my chai. The cardamom is very strongly expressed and the other spices have a sweet, warm, cinnamon expression. This was lovely to drink on a cold hazy morning overlooking the water with my dad.
The first cup of this is very smooth with a slight grain tang that is really appealing and warm. It’s very springy and lush with a complex liquorish feel. This cup really mellows as it cools.
The second cup was even better. I think the leaves opened up and have had time to expand the palette of this tea. It’s very buttery and nutty with a nice smooth end to each sip. The flavors are very deep and like others have said it does have a “chewy” feel to it. As it cooled this tea became really citrusy.
The flavors that explain tea are nutty, citrusy, spring, and grassy.
Overall this is a wonderful and yummy cup. It’s clean, palatable and very fresh.
