I’m not a fan of Teavana. I’ve gone into a few of their stores and purchased some of their products, and I have not been impressed with the quality of their merchandise. The teas are over-priced, they won’t just sell you a small amount, they try to push over-priced tea tins on you, and the salespeople give incorrect information to customers. The tea accessories I have gotten there have not been much better. Nearly every accessory I have purchased or been given from Teavana has arrived broken (refund refused) or broken after a few uses.

I was very disappointed by this store. It was fairly overpriced, badly organized, and understaffed. I had to wait 30 minutes (!) to for an employee to wonder back into the store, and he was far more interested in helping the woman who was doing yoga in the middle of the store. It was overall a kind of weird, surreal experience, and I honestly would not recommend it to anyone who was just looking for a place to find tea.

My go-to spot for tea. The owner is very friendly and shares a lot of information about tea. One of the things that really impressed me was that after two visits, he was able to start recommending different teas to me based on my previous purchases. I love that the store now carries some used books as well.
